Englewood, CO — July 8, 2025 — The Saint John Institute (SJI) was honored to welcome the Most Reverend Samuel J. Aquila, Archbishop of Denver, for a special campus visit and blessing ceremony. Archbishop Aquila was greeted by Father Nathan Cromly, founder and president of SJI, who led a tour of the campus and introduced the Archbishop to members of the SJI team.
The visit concluded in the Resurrection Oratory Chapel, where Archbishop Aquila offered a blessing of the ministry and all those present.
“It was so awesome that Archbishop Aquila visited and blessed SJI,” said Father Cromly. “We, in turn, made him an honorary member. Thank you, Archbishop, for visiting the Saint John Institute, for praying with us, and for blessing our ministry. We are grateful for your presence!”
The Saint John Institute, based in Englewood, is committed to forming Catholic leaders for business, ministry, and family life. The visit from Archbishop Aquila underscores the ongoing relationship between the Archdiocese of Denver and this growing leadership apostolate.

About the Saint John Institute (SJI)
Based just outside of Denver in Englewood, Colorado, the Saint John Institute (SJI)
(https://saintjohninstitute.org/) is a thriving leadership institute, consisting of four distinct ministries: 1) Through Eagle Eye Ministries (EEM), SJI inspires young adults. 2)Through the Saint John Leadership Institute (SJLI), SJI equips leaders in Colorado with its programs. 3)Through the Saint John Leadership Network (SJLN), SJI engages others throughout the U.S. with events and programs for families and professional leaders to impact the culture. 4)The newest SJI Ministry, Dare Great Things™, found at www.daregreatthings.org, will bring a new portfolio of digital content to a broader audience. When SJLN was founded in 2018, it was to give business professionals and owners the very best support, teaching, and encouragement the Catholic faith could offer. Today, Saint John Institute has grown into a network of Catholics from both the professional world and families, as it provides retreats and instruction for the family and the workplace. Its network consists of adults of all ages and all stages in life, including professionals, parents, and grandparents.
About Father Nathan Cromly
Father Nathan Cromly, a priest of the Archdiocese of Denver, has dedicated his ministry to working out an effective answer to the challenge of bringing faith to leadership and leadership to faith – in the workplace, the family, and the culture. From his upbringing as a laborer and entrepreneur in his native Northwest, Ohio, to his years of study and prayer in religious life, Father Cromly has sought to bring the power of faith to meet the power of the world and the power of the world to bow before the power of the faith. His writings, presentations, and his work in founding and leading the Saint John Institute have blazed an innovative and unique pathway forward for every Christian who wonders what difference their faith makes in the world, and what use God could have for their talents and their passions. He is filled with the conviction that God so loves the world that He has summoned you and I to lead it back to Him.
