As we enter into the Parish Year of Eucharistic Revival, let us meditate upon this passage from the Preface to Eucharistic Prayer for Reconciliation I, reading it slowly and prayerfully and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us through it:
Even now you set before your people a time of grace and reconciliation, and, as they turn back to you in spirit, you grant them hope in Christ Jesus and a desire to be of service to all, while they entrust themselves more fully to the Holy Spirit.
Come, Lord Jesus, and revive us through the Holy Eucharist!
